Miranda specialises in arts and health, working in the community to support people in creative ways and promote wellbeing. Her use of clay as a medium has a therapeutic benefit, from a personal perspective and as a tool when working with others.

Miranda makes high-fired stoneware forms using a combination of wheel-thrown and hand-built techniques. Her work has a focus on form and explores the idea of balance and texture, often highlighted by contrasting glazes. Miranda has an interest in clay as a natural material and different clay bodies. She is interested in our relationship with clay and its journey. Miranda hopes to emulate the organic process in her art making, showing where the clay has come from and the process of turning clay into ceramic.
